When this display came out I wanted it but the price was way too high at around 500 buck for a 24". I figured if it was around 250-300 I would probably get it. Sure enough after waiting a bit and actually paying attention to some of my junk email for a change, I ended up buying this to have a desktop 3d monitor for PS3 AND PC when it was on sale for $299 with 2 games and 2 pair of glasses.
My first unit had a black screen problem where the screen would black out for a couple seconds or longer for an unknown reason. I was able to exchange it for a new one and so far so good. I am using it for PC gaming in 3d with nVidia 3dtvplay as well as with the PS3 for 3d and Simulview. It seems that Sony doesn't want to support it for PC gaming use despite it being HDMI 1.4 3d compliant. There is a hidden USB port for charging the glasses on the back bottom right which might be used to update the firmware in the future but after talking to Sony it doesn't look likely.
