Review : Great idea, but causes constant crashes!
This is a great idea for The Sims 3, as it provides some additional game play options, such as four new career pathways, a new world to enjoy, and lots of new clothing items! Of course, these are always welcomed enhancements, when it comes to the Sims...
However, I just returned the game for a full refund. Here's why:
1) The game freezes and crashes constantly due to sloppy programming bugs. It seems that EA (Electronic Arts) quickly rushed this expansion pack to the market way too fast, without actually testing it for problems. (I have a very modern Alienware system with a good processor, lots of memory, great graphics card, with updated drivers, etc. It should run fine, as the other expansions packs do. However, it doesn't. The game will traditionally crash within 5 minutes of starting the game, dumping you off at the Windows 7 desktop.)
2) The longest I managed to get the game to play was for about 5 minutes at most before it would...
