This is not the first Gold/Silver Pokemon Gameboy Color console. Nintendo had one available through a contest that had Pikachu on the left of the screen and on the right, one on top of the other, were Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile. the words "Pokémon Center" and a Poké Ball near the bottom of the console. Unfortunately, residents of New York, Florida and Quebec were not eligible to enter (laws). I was disappointed and called them, asking to release one for sale. I'm sure others called in asking the same thing. The console changes from gold to silver in the light thanks to a special paint, and Pikachu jumps with glee (the power light is its right cheek! Priceless!) and little Pichu is on the bottom right, looking as cute as Pikachu. I also have the original Pokémon Yellow Gameboy console, and am thrilled to have both of these.
